About Us

Welcome to the YMCA!

The YMCA of Metropolitan Denver has been positively impacting lives since 1875. We continue to shape the futures of young people through programs, such as, YMCA After School, YMCA Youth Sports, YMCA Aquatics, and YMCA Summer Day Camps. The YMCA emphasizes helping learn positive values, a commitment to service, and motivation to learn.

The YMCA of Metropolitan Denver works at building strong communities through programs such as YMCA CASASTART in DPS schools, Family to Family Connection in northwest Denver, and Lights on After School sites. The YMCA brings individuals and groups together to form communities that support the success of all children.

The YMCA of Metropolitan Denver is unique, as it is more than just a place to go. At the YMCA, you are part of a community that believes in the health and wellness of each individual. We work to ensure your confidence and build a relationship with you that inspires you to enjoy each day. The YMCA ensures that each person we serve has access to programs and activities that meet their individual needs.

  • The YMCA is open to all, regardless of race, religion, ethnicity, age, socio-economic levels and life style choices.
  • The YMCA of Metropolitan Denver serves over 50,000 people annually.

I encourage you to stop by your local YMCA and discover for yourself how the YMCA changes lives. Our doors are open. Join a community that is vibrant and growing.
