At the Y, we’re dedicated to strengthening community by giving back and supporting our neighbors. Togetherhood ™ invites members to participate in the Y’s cause to strengthen community. We invite you to join us on Saturday, April 25 for a day of volunteering to muck, ranch maintenance, cleaning water tanks and grooming horses at The Horse Protection League in Arvada.

New Executive Director

The Susan M. Duncan Family YMCA is pleased to announce Jen Spettel as the new Executive Director! Jen began her career as a part-time Member Services Representative at the Duncan YMCa in 2004 and brings more than 11 years of sucessful YMCA leadership and management experience to this important position. She most recently served as the Membership Director for the Duncan YMCA and as Association Director of Membership for the Denver YMCA. Stop by and meet Jen!

New Membership Director

The Susan M. Duncan Family YMCA in Arvada is pleased to announce that Kristin Denehy is the new Membership Director! Kristin began her YMCA career with the YMCA of Sumter, SC in 2008, where she served as Program Director for Youth Enrichment. She then served as Senior Program Director at the Independent Family Health YMCA of Buffalo NY from 2011 to 2014. After relocating to Denver in September 2014, she will be joining the YMCA of Denver as Membership Director. Stop by the YMCA to meet Kristin!
