Health Insurance for Full Time Employees

The YMCA provides employees and their families high-quality health and dental insurance plans that are the cornerstone of our employee benefits package.

All full-time employees working 35 or more hours per week are offered the choice of three quality Kaiser Permanente health plans.

Each employee who elects one of the three medical insurance plans is automatically enrolled in the Cigna Dental Benefits Option.

Plan #1 - Kaiser Permanente HDHP80 - Plan Highlights

  • Under the HDHP80 plan, employees and their dependents utilize Kaiser physicians and facilities conveniently located throughout the Denver metro area.
  • 25 full-service medical offices and 500+ physicians. Most locations offer x-ray, lab services, and pharmacy
  • Same-day appointments and evening and weekend office hours
  • 24-hour nurse hotline
  • $2,000 deductible for individuals with $2,500 maximum out-of-pocket. $4,000 deductible for families with $5,000 maximum out-of-pocket 
  • This high-deductible health plan is paired with a tax-favored health savings account

  • Under the HDHP90 plan, employees and their dependents utilize Kaiser physicians and facilities conveniently located throughout the Denver metro area.

  • $1,300 deductible for individuals with $2,000 maximum out-of-pocket. $2,600 deductible for families with $4,000 maximum out-of-pocket 
  • This high-deductible health plan is paired with a tax-favored health savings account

Plan #3 - Kaiser Permanente Triple Option - Plan Highlights

  • Under the Triple Option plan employees have full access to the HMO services provided by Kaiser (see above).
  • In addition, employees can access the PHCS Preferred Provider Network or any provider of their choice. See Plan Highlights for details on benefit levels.

Dental Insurance

If you enroll in one of the three health plans above you are automatically enrolled in the Cigna Dental Benefits plan, which features:

  • Choice of dentist in- or out-of-network
  • Noreferral needed to see a specialist 
  • $50 individual annual deductible ($150 per family)
  • $1,500 maximum per member annual benefit
  • Orthodontia benefits for children (under 19)
