Your Time Away from the YMCA
The YMCA feels that it is beneficial for a healthy spirit, mind and body that employees have time away from work with friends and family.
Full-Time Employees:
Full time employees receive vacation, sick and personal time as well as 10 paid holidays each year as outlined in the Full Time Employees Personnel Procedures and Guidelines and AMENDMENT to Personnel Procedures & Guidelines For Employees Hired after January 1, 2004.
Holidays:
Each full time employee gets 10 paid holidays a year as defined in the Personnel procedure and guidelines.
Vacation:
Paid vacation and paid time off is earned on an accrual basis for use the following calendar year. Please see the PP&G for the schedule.
Sick Time:
5 days of paid sick time is granted to full time employees after their first 90 days of employment with an additional 5 days granted on their first anniversary date. Additional days are granted according to the schedule in the PP&G .
Personal Time:
Full time employees receive 24 hours of personal time off with pay each year (Available after their first 90 days of employment) to cover leave for business reasons and small necessities.

Vacation Time:
is available to part-time employees who meet the following criteria are eligible for a pro rata vacation allowance based upon the number of hours worked the previous year prorated against the full time non-exempt vacation schedule
- Employee must work at least 1,000 hours per year.
- Must be employed for at least one full calendar year or more
