Procedures & Guidelines

It is the goal of the YMCA of Metropolitan Denver to consistently attract, develop, and motivate the most competent staff available, to aid in the achievement of the YMCA’s objectives. The Full Time & Part Time Personnel Procedures & Guidelines exist to give further evidence of the YMCA’s mission through its personnel practices and relationships.

These booklets are summary guidelines for employees. The YMCA of Metropolitan Denver reserves the right to modify, revoke, suspend, terminate, interpret, or change any or all of the guidelines mentioned, in whole or in part, at any time, with or without notice. The language used in these booklets is not intended to constitute a contract of employment, either expressed or implied.

The YMCA of Metropolitan Denver reserves the right, with or without cause, to terminate the employment of any employee at any time. The employee has the same right to terminate employment at any time. No representative of the YMCA of Metropolitan Denver, other than the Chief Executive Officer, has authority to enter into an agreement of employment for any specified period. Such an agreement must be in writing.
