Fitness Class Showcases

New classes. New formats. New intensity.

Come See What’s New at the YMCA!

Unlimited fitness classes are a member benefit of the YMCA, and we offer – free to members – the latest in yoga, dance, and low-impact and high-impact formats, plus classes that can be modified for individual fitness levels. 

New classes will be featured in a series of upcoming Showcases, where instructors will be on-hand to answer questions and introduce new participants to each class in a comfortable, welcoming environment. Classes to be showcased include:


Grit classes feature short, high bursts of energy interspersed with recovery time to accelerate fitness gains. People who take GRIT look to feel, powerful, strong, confident, in control, challenged, and successful.


CXWORX uses a mix of body-weight exercises, along with resistance tubing and plates, to train core muscles. The class is powerful, precise, technical and clear, while being fun and inclusive to all levels.


This high-energy fitness class combines running, lunging and jumping with strength exercises such as push-ups and squats. This class is for anyone who wants to feel like an athlete in an awesome team environment.


BODYPUMP is the original barbell workout to music that will work for all major muscle groups. This is the time-tested secret to developing lean, athletic muscle.


In BODYCOMBAT, participants punch and kick, without contact! Come to get fit and strong, burn massive calories, relieve stress, feel empowered, and have a blast.


HIIT stands for high-intensity interval training, which combines periods of short, intense exercises with less-tense recovery periods. The class is designed to increase your heart rate and burn more fat in less time.
