Southshore residents receive free fitness classes. The following classes are offered at Southshore:

AQUA FITNESS

Monday 8:30am-9:30am

Aerobics in the water. Low impact excercise great for all ages!

 

 

YOGA

 Tuesdays,  6 - 7 pm

An exercise discipline that dates back to ancient India, yoga involves moving the body through a series of positions and stretches, while focusing on breathing or specific thoughts. Yoga benefits include increased energy levels, greater muscle tone and strength, and better balance.

 

YOGA STRETCH

Tuesdays & Thursdays, 7:00am-8:00am 

A mix of yoga stretches to ease the aches and pains and calm the mind

 

PILATES

Tuesday and Thursday 8:15am-9:15am

excercise that consisits of low-impact flexibility and muscular strength and denurance movement. Emphasizes proper postural alignment, core strength and muscle balance

 

 

CARDIO SCULPT

Tuesdays, 6 - 7 pm

Come enjoy a great cardio workout while improving your strength and toning your muscles.

 

 

BOOT CAMP

Wednesday 7:00am-8:00am

A total body workout, strength, cardio and core!

 

NIA

Saturdays, 9  - 10 am

Nia is a cardio dance group fitness class that incorporates martial arts, dance arts and healing arts. As an ongoing practice, Nia promotes mindfulness and holistic fitness and well-being.
