YMCA Camp Jackson in Rye, Colorado

The Summer of a Lifetime! Our programs are designed to empower youth with the values of the Y while having the most fun ever! Your camper will love Camp Jackson and you’ll love the price!  YMCA Camp Jackson is located in the foothills of Greenhorn Mountain in Rye, Colorado. That’s about 45 minutes south of Pueblo, Colorado. 

In our Base Camp Program (Ages 7-12), campers spend a week living in single-gender cabins getting a taste of all that camp has to offer, including horseback riding, canoeing, “specialty areas,” and an out-of-cabin overnight packout adventure. When registering for Base Camp, each camper selects a “specialty area” of their choice. Every morning, campers will participate in their “specialty area”. The specialty areas are; Marksmanship, Eco Survival Challenge, Mountain Sports or Horsemanship. During the week, campers will have the opportunity to try the other specialty area activities during “choice time.”

We have several Teen Camps as well (ages 12-17). Teen Paddling focuses on white water rafting on the Arkansas River, Teen Terrain focuses on white water rafting and rock climbing, Teen Riding is an advanced horsemanship camp and Teen Combo is a two week combination of all programs. YMCA Camp Santa Maria in Bailey, CO

YMCA Camp Santa Maria offers a life-shaping experience that encourages a spirit of community, exploration and adventure. Campers can spend one- or two-week sessions in this picturesque mountain camp near Bailey, CO: hiking, rock climbing, swimming, kayaking, playing sports, enjoying drama and art projects, dancing, singing and making friends. Camp Santa Maria combines fun outdoor experiences with age-appropriate activities based on the Y’s core values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility.
