Adventure Camp

Experience the natural world through exploration and active involvement. Social recreation, camp crafts, and our camp traditions provide a rich menu of activities for teens-to-be. Each week provides hands-on activities including environmental education field trips, theme days and activities. Age appropriate groups provide a structure for campers to develop self-esteem, learn cooperative skills and practice the YMCA values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility. Ages:  9 - up to 14.

As summer nears, we are actively working with local school districts and the State of Colorado to ensure that we can operate a safe environment for your child in YMCA Day Camp.

We know that summer day camp 2020 will look different from previous summers. Our protocols, schedules, programming and procedures will be adjusted, and additional precautionary measures will be taken to uphold the highest possible standard of hygiene and sanitation practices, and illness prevention.

That said, we are still unsure if and when we will be allowed to operate day camps at our planned locations. We have decided to preemptively cancel the week of May 26-29. Those registered for that week will receive a credit on their account. If you have additional questions please contact summercamp@denverymca.org.

Registration Process:

There is a two-part registration process:

  1. STEP ONE: Register your child/ren for camp through the link below (link will work on 2/12 @ noon), this will reserve your child's spot on the camp roster. This will include paying deposits and registration fees for camp. (Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable. Registration fees are non-refundable.)

  2. STEP TWO: As we get closer to camp, you will receive an email requesting you to complete the registration process. This includes completing the mandatory state required questionaire that must be submitted before the first day of camp. This questionaire will cover info that will allow us to provide the best quality care for your child.

Deposit and Registration Fee

Enter a $25 deposit for each session your child will attend, and a one-time $50 registration fee per child.  Total all deposits along with the registration fee, and provide one payment for that amount, prior to attending.  Weekly deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable.
