Summer Day Camp
At the YMCA, our experienced Camp Counselors offer children a variety of imaginative activities that nurture their spirits, challenge their minds, and strengthen their bodies. With a variety of weekly themes your camper will have an fun and engaging summer while staying active and making new friends.
***Registration opens for Denver, Aurora, Adams County and Littleton at noon on Feb. 12***
***Registration for camp at Anthem opens noon on Feb. 14***
***Registration opens for all Jefferson County sites at noon on Feb. 19.***
There is a two-part registration process:
STEP ONE: Register your child/ren for camp through the link below (link will work on 2/12 @ noon), this will reserve your child's spot on the camp roster. This will include paying deposits and registration fees for camp. (Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable. Registration fees are non-refundable.)
STEP TWO: As we get closer to camp, you will receive an email requesting you to complete the registration process. This includes completing the mandatory state required questionaire that must be submitted before the first day of camp. This questionaire will cover info that will allow us to provide the best quality care for your child.
Deposit and Registration Fee
Enter a $25 deposit for each session your child will attend, and a one-time $50 registration fee per child. Total all deposits along with the registration fee, and provide one payment for that amount, prior to attending. Weekly deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Through the generosity of YMCA donors, we offer a limited number of scholarships for summer camp. Scholarships are given on a first come, first serve basis, please complete the scholarship application here and submit all required documentation. We will not process incomplete applications. All campers must be at least 5 years old by May 25, 2020.
All Camps are closed on Memorial Day and third of July.
The YMCA provide summer day camp in Adams County at Western Hills Elementary School and Reunion Recreation Center.
The YMCA provides summer day camp across Arvada.
In Aurora, the YMCA provides Summer Day Camp at Dartmouth Elementary, Edna and John Mosley P-8, Wheatlands and Murphy Creek K-8.
In Broomfield, we provide summer day camp for the residents of Anthem Highlands. This camp is only open to residents of Anthem.
In Denver, the YMCA provides summer day camp at the Conservatory Green at Stapleton, Cook Park Rec Center, Denver Green School, Downtown Denver YMCA, Downtown Denver Expeditionary School, Dora Moore Elementary, Isabella Bird Community School, Holm Elementary, Montclair Elementary, Palmer Elementary, Scheitler Recreation Center, Schlessman YMCA, and Southwest YMCA.
In Glendale the YMCA operates summer day camp at Infinity Park.
In Golden, the YMCA provides day camp.
