Flag Football

Flag Football

Our flag football is played 5-on-5 and is designed to help kids learn the rules of the game and the fundamentals through fast-paced games and drills. Sportsmanship, teamwork and having fun are the emphasis. Teams practice once and play at least one game per week. Coed kindergarten, 1st/2nd grade, 3rd/4th grade and 5th/6th grade divisions are offered. Our rules ensure that all players get a chance to experience the full game, and not just from the perspective of one position all season.

All Denver YMCA locations offer flag football during our Fall 1 (Aug.- Oct) season. However, all divisions are not offered at all locations. Check with the YMCA below to see when they are registering for the next season of flag football.

We would like to give a special thanks to our youth sports sponsor.
